Apologizing can be a very common practice for some of us. Too often, we apologize for being quiet, loud,
late, early, big, small, introverted, extroverted, confident, shy, creative,
inadequate, and brilliant … and the list goes on and on, and on again.
In essence, we apologize for
being our perfect self.
We have a lot of catching up to do, and I know there is a lot of goodness for us to share. I am so happy we are here
together ~ with absolutely no apologies.
I have missed you, and, within time, I am so excited to share all that is good with you, my
friend.
No need to apologize at all! I've missed your writing so much, Eydie, and I am so happy to see your post! xoxo
ReplyDeleteOh this reminds me of a study that I'd read years ago ! :) It was in regards to women apologizing constantly for every little thing, and one of the examples was in the grocery store. I've never forgotten it and never been the same in a grocery store since! :) Next time you go to one, observe how often we apologize to each other for even being in the same aisle :)
