head up in the clouds

In between
the laundry
the phone calls
the dishes
the gathering
the tiding
the cooking
and the lists

I surrender
to the rocker
outside
in the yard
and gaze
up
at the clouds
as they float
above
and slowly
became
a bird that flies

past the sea horse
that
dances
above the

the laughing
dinosaur face

as it smiles at
an angel
while she
flutters her wings

and spreads
love
all
around

what can
you create
when you
have your head
up the in clouds?

  4. YES!!!! I can leave a comment now!!!
Thanks for tweaking the glitch....techy stuff
    sometimes has a happy ending!

My heart settles into a peaceful rhythm
sitting back in a rocker alongside of you,
    watching the clouds overhead
    and enjoying your company.
    Thanks for this sweet pause
and the rest-easy-ness of it all:)

  10. As always, you have inspired me. I MUST find some time this afternoon to stretch out in my lounge chair and study the clouds. I used to do this all the time when I was a kid, but haven't in years...
