obsession

I crave you
I obsess you
I consume you

each mouthful gets me high
only to be let down
wanting more of you
never getting enough

I am so deeply dependent
not knowing moderation
or how to set boundaries

and each time I let you go
and purge you from my body
I shake
as my world spins

eventually
I withdrawal and lose myself
as you are slowly release from my body

I always come back for more
craving you
to lift me
energize me
satisfy me
and fill me up

but instead
you pound
unwanted weight
onto my love handles
as you leave me
singing the sugar blues

  5. oh how I have sung those blues, too!
yours are raw and real and
I love love the way you sing them:):):)
(I got some nutritional testing done
and am taking some sweet supplements
    for adrenal fatigue
and it IS amazing how much less I crave sweets.
maybe that might be a bit of a key?
I don't know. see if it seems like a fit)

    thanks for the beautiful song!

    1. Jennifer,
Thanks for sharing. Yes, I know it is key.
I just had my blood work up last week and will be meeting with my holistic doc next week. I am patiently waiting to get a new supplemental program.

Balance is my OLW for the year. I am so looking forward to finding, and maintaining balance.

So glad you have found your sweet supplements.

Have a beautiful weekend, my friend.
      XOXO
