All things perfect

Strolling in the gardens
with my beautiful friend

as we appreciate
each other
and the vast beauty
surrounding us.

The air
so perfect
more spring-like
today
than summer-like
gently
kissing our skin
as it breezes by

shades of  green,  purple, red, orange and yellow
paint the canvas

as the palate of pigments
blend into

the  panoramic view
as it awaits us.

Ginko leaves

water lilies

lotus bliss
smile back at us
as if
we are merely spectators
delighting
in their innate wisdom
as we become

drunk with inspiration
opening to their healing
energies
as the birds sing
songs of wisdom
and butterflies dance
in delight.

We ask the buds
“What will become of you?”
as they gently
remind us
of our uniqueness
endurance
and beauty

as we unfold
and emerge
all within perfect time.

What will become of you, my dear friend?

  3. Beautiful photos! I am doing a creative prompt series, and yesterday's assignment was to take ten photos of things of beauty in your environment. it was a great exercise, one I plan to do again. There really IS beauty all around us; we just have to take the time to notice. Thank you so much for sharing!
